We have a new generation!

My son Jack has been bitten by the war hammer bug and started painting an ork army and some space marines-

Amazed at how good his first attempt is, they look fantastic. Has anyone noticed how expensive GW figures are?

S&S Special Forces Toyota

I am very pleased at how this fellow turned out-

Heavy weathering plus a brown wash followed by a black wash. Have recently started using Tamiya weathering pigments, excellent results and well worth it.

Two Great Books

Amazing SAS is a great read and has some compelling insight into the way the Australians operate. Having read a bit about special ops, it is really interesting to contrast the methods of the US, UK and Australia.

Trigger Men is essentially a collection real world scenarios, I got it on audio book and listened to it on the way to work, highly recommended-

RAAOC museum, Bandiana Victoria

I had the pleasure of visiting this museum recently and took some photos to help me in the endless quest to get australian camouflage colors correct. Hopefully these pics will help you as well. There is also a great Vietnam era uniform on display as well. It’s disturbing to note that when I served in the infantry in the 80’s we looked exactly like the Vietnam guy.
